Fresh herbs are such a good way to add flavor to your cooking. They have the power to completely transform a bland food plus they have health benefits.
Herbs are a grocery must, you can easily use them and let your body enjoy their healthy properties. Cilantro is my favorite, I am using it a lot. Like many others fresh herbs it has a good amount of antioxidants. Chopped cilantro is perfect with avocado of course! I also love to let cauliflower rice cook with some cilantro leaves.
Mint is also one of my basic, it makes any fruity dessert better. It's going very well with mango and watermelon. Fresh mint promotes digestion and can help you in case of nausea.
Rosemary has a wonderful aroma and is known to be good for your immune system. It is going very well with chicken and I often use it in fancy beverages for a little twist.
It's very pleasant to cook with fresh herbs, their good smell perfume the kitchen, the house... You can get super creative with herbs, there are many of them (dill, basil, thyme, sage, parsley, oregano, chives) and the possibilities are countless.
